Importing .reg files on wine

: Hehe, actually I only know the usage with wine.
: Normally there is now disadvantage. Only one thing is, that you have to use other graphix (see File-Section).
: Yes and the just recognised problem with the missing registry section in Linux...
: Maybe with the next Version of C-evo will be a better way for implementing high-res-files (hope).

Wait, if i remember well wine does have a regedit of sorts

i used to play Starcraft on wine, and on earlier versions it doest not run by itself claiming it was not installed so i have to use an "regsetup" file, I just ran it on wine, the registry values where created and that's it, Starcraft run

Can you run the .reg files under wine over there? wine does have some kind of fake registry of something, it worked for me

if what is missing are the cevo registry values you may try to run the c-evo installer under wine, theoretically it will create the registry entries you need, o the other side it may not install at all

But, at least for me, even if i delete all the cevo values form the registry and run cevo again, cevo recreates all the values on the registry, so you may only need to run cevo one time and the values are (re)created, then you run wine -> regedit and import the reg files that are needed for the larger tileset and it should work, at least in theory

Good Luck, and remember: if your computer explodes, its Cor'e fault.
