: : So, I usually build a 3 attack, 2 defense unit, since that's the highest defence I can get to them, but they still seem to get defeated by almost anyone, It seems that I win a battle sometimes with good luck. : : You cant build units with more defense in the beginning of the game. Some hints: : - if you have the advance steel, you can use 3 times defense : : Defense strength modifiers : - Experience: +25 for each level of experience : - Ground units on terrain: Mountain+200%, Hills+100%,Forest,Swamp+50% : - Ground units in forts +100% : - In city with city walls against ground units without artillery feature +200% : : : : And it usually happens, that an enemy comes out of nowhere, kills my unit, and then dissappears? What's with that? : : You can only see the observed part of the map ("fog of war") or ... turn on "manipulation - see everything". : : Frank
